So sleepy...
Alcatraz. Even Boof, who had wanted to go there more than I, was bored after 30 minutes. I got some good shots off and enjoyed the opressive atmosphere but couldnt see how the tour guide thought we'd spend 2 hours there.

Macys. Greg played personal shopper and got me into theswingofthings, but Levis never fit right on me and the ones Macys were selling were made in Ecuador. Or something. Anyway the quality was shocking.

The GAP. Fitted better but everything was 'distressed'. I said to the assistant, "I dont want *more* jeans, I want *new* ones. I already have jeans that look like someone's worn them for 2 years." Well, that and the fact that everyone in NZ would laugh at me if I wore GAP jeans.

Mr S. OMG I never saw such a fantastic shop in all my life. There was a guy in the store trying on a new harness with cockring- with an erection. Toys like you wouldnt believe. I've done all my xmas shopping in one day. Fantastic.

Folsom volunteer initiation orientation. Awesome to see the level of organisation involved. Being pawed and mauled by the leather-clad biker boys wasnt too bad either. I came out with my integrity intact, even if my filthy mind was playing biker-bear scenarios over and over...

and now its time to sleep because *BOUNCE!* Erich arrives tomorrow!!

tomorrow

It's great that you're enjoying your trip, and doing both touristy and non-touristy things. I've lived here over ten years, and STILL haven't been to Alcatraz!
If you can find them, Wrangler or Lee brand jeans are cut for guys with your frame, and should fit better. I think J. C. Penny's carries them. There's a Levi's outlet on Mission St. near 16th (ask around) that carries a lot of the odder, hard-to find variations, and other work clothes like Carhartts, too.
Mr. S is an institution. Many a young man has enjoyed the rite of passage called the 'personal fitting'. ;)

Have fun with Erich! Come up for air once in a while!!!

Levis

If you want regular 501s, go to Mervyn's. They sell new Levis at reasonable prices.

Yeah, it was REAL fun getting fitted for chaps at Mr. S.

You found Alcatraz boring???

when do you go back to NZ. i was down in the Castro yesterday and was keeping an eye out for you. But didn't see you. I was there until around 8pm or so. Will you be here for Folsom or are you leaving before then?

LOL not really, just not the 2-hour extravaganza we were promised..
