BTW I had never heard of this expression until I turned on BBC World Service in the car on the way to work an hour late 'cos the dogs aren't here to wake me and just happened to hear my BROTHER IN LAW taking part in a discussion on advertising. Since then I have been freaking myself out trying to devise some way of calculating the odds of this chain of events coming together.
