Talk about a long weekend- after recovering saturday, I was dragged along to the GABA charity auction on Sunday. It was as awesome as last year, an amazing amount of money was raised, all items sold quickly and the bidding was competitive and fun. Our table quickly became known as 'the winners table'. Which was accurate, but a better name would have been 'the drunks table'. Oh dear. I think Paul tried to bid on Cindy of Samoa, the fantastic drag queen who wowed us by singing Tina Turner songs just like Tina herself. Only slightly less butch.

We also consumed a great deal of wine. Oh dear. Adjourning back to Johhny and Kim's for more wine and pizza meant that I didnt get to bed until 2am- which explains why I'm dozing off here at my desk, and its only 10am.

My future husband called yesterday though. Oh yes, I am happy.
