New bed is assembled and made. Its even huger than i thought. Oh dear.

I'm also not sure how I should feel about owning my first ever grownup-shaped bed at the age of 33. Its either a good thing or an ominous portent.

Hey, give me a chance! Though it is rather sturdy and a is at a good height. For me.

I actually centre it when I have guests staying. Off-centre gives me more headroom under that sloping ceiling when I'm alone.

I am in LUUURRRRVE with your bedroom - I've always wanted a 'nooky' type loft bedroom. I'm as jealous as all hell! :-)
