Back at work...

I'm back at work today, after a hot and sunny long weekend. I got to show Boof around TeAroha, took the dog for a run (poor wee Saffy, she was exhausted after...) and had late breakfasts at the local cafes. Wee Danny came over a day early, and so we kept him entertained, though he didnt want to sleep in the spare bed with us and slept on the floor instead? silly bugger, I explained that Im sure the boys wouldnt mind him using the main bed, as he's practically family, but he said he was happy on the floor. Twisted...

Last night we came back to Auckland for a quiet BBQ with friends, which was most enjoyable- good food, good company, and far too much vodka. So this morning I left Boof there to sleep off his hangover, I hope he's ok...

And its looking like a hectic week on the social side of things- tonight is my only free night, it appears. And the boys come home in 5 days!! I've taken Monday and Tuesday next week off, just so that I have freedom to stay in TeAroha if it turns out to be appropriate, and drive Matt to the airport on Tuesday.

probably best that you boys stay in Auckland on Sunday, dont think i will be up for the social thing, just want time to unpack and relax as work will be hectic on monday.

Would have been more fun if you were here though.. but of course if you were here you wouldnt be *there*, and then the lads would miss out on your charming hospitality, and thats not fair at all.. :-)
