Hallelujah! (I must be crazy)

Gallup polls since 1982 have consistently shown that about 45 percent of the U.S. population believes that God created humans in their present form sometime within the past 10,000 years.

This is what gets me: Dinosaurs and man once co-existed, and dozens of the creatures - including T-rex - were passengers on the ark built by Noah, who was a real man, not a myth.

I'm trying to imagine two T-Rex's rampaging around a boat and eating all the widdle animals. *shakes head* These people are completely loony. Nut-bars!

Is it me, or is this kind of egregious mystical know-nothing-ism getting more and more prevalent... or is it just that people feel more free to display their ... peculiarities ... openly now than they did in the past?

Yup. It's the Fundies turn to come out of the closet.
