Its cold out.
I need to pee.
But its cold out.
I *really* need to pee.
But fuck! its cold out. Maybe if I lie on my back...
Nope. I have to go. I may be some time.

At Lazy Bear, I keep a couple of empty water bottles in the tent for just this reason.

No, I spend entirely too little time hanging around at truck stops. Like none at all. I never understood the trucker fetish. (And how can you possibly piss in a bottle while driving?)

But when you're camping, it's the little pleasures that make it all worth while. Like not having to put on warm clothes and shoes and find a flashlight just to take a piss. You can be back asleep in 30 seconds. Aaaaah.

Do you want me to save you one of those bottles and mail it to Auckland? :-)

I don't know about LazyBear, but mornings at Badger Flat can be QUITE nippy, and not having to leave the tent for that morning slash can be a big plus.

Not that I've ever done it; I just turn on the tent heater, get dressed and go outside. Like in the icon I used on this comment. ;)

I do that too. Especially this year. It seemed cooler at night this year than last. After drinking every night. and then getting all comfy cozy in my sleeping bag. I wasn't about to trot out into the cold air to piss.
