May. 3rd, 2004 11:18 pmLast night was Kevin's birthday- an intimate party with 20 or so of his friends, sarong-wrapped waiters, much alcohol and an unfortunate incident involving a feather boa, a floor-length fur coat, and a camera. I dread the fallout should THOSE pictures ever surface. Bears should NOT do drag. Not even extremely drunk wee cubs. I think my drink was spiked. That'll be it.
Quote of the evening "You're Belgian? There's batter in the kitchen- make waffles!"
Fire safety concerns aside, Sake and cigars do NOT go well together.
Made it to bed at 6am, slept right throught until about 1pm, and then watched Oz on DVD, complete with freeze-frame and slow motion action. Mmmmm... we're going to buy the whole of Oz later in the week.
Off to Phuket tomorrow, 4 days of relaxing in a big pool at a flash hotel, and maybe a bit of shopping. We've found a gay boat cruise which takes you out to a small island for snorkelling and a BBQ so we might do that as well- hell we look like tourists, might as well do SOME touristy things.
