(no subject)

Sunday was a recovery day- after the late night/drinking/travel/raunchy sex of the night before, I was feeling a wee bit vague. I did, however, manage to sleep through the hangover :-) Spent most of the day trying to convince the DVD burner to play nicely with the software on my lappy.

Watched TRON.. wow! I was 8 when it came out and thought it was cool then, but watching it yesterday i was blown away by the effects and the CGI. I cant believe it was made in 1982, when a 32k, 256-colour Sega SC3000 was pretty spectacular. I would love to know what sort of hardware it was rendered on... no SGI in 1982, no MIPS, barely a Microsoft...

The stuff I'm doing right now is dull and mainstream in comparison.
