Midweek ramblings

Pub quiz night, and we didnt do quite as well as we hoped. Our throwaway round turned out to be one of our best rounds, and 'entertainment' turned in a dismal 3.5 points. Or perhaps our performance was inhibited by the vast quantities of beer we were pouring down our necks. We had a great time! so good, in fact, that we left without paying. Whoops.
I woke this morning to find my arm still attached, as Nicholas promised. He had a good look at it last night and declared it an insect bite with a mild allergic reaction. Woo-hoo!! I'm allergic to something! shame I cant be sure what it is I'm allergic to though. Antihistamine cream has helped, the red patch is larger than ever but much less angry.
I'm organising the pit crew for this weekends Demolition Derby. Kaleidoscope is entering a team of 4 cars, and its my job to make sure theyre all running properly and looking pretty. I think I'll concentrate on the 'running properly' bit, given that the cars are going to end up as mangled lumps of steel. I'm mainly worried that the guys are going to forget all about teamwork and turn on each other.
