Too much!!

The silly season is indeed upon us. Too many events to go to, everyone is running about from party to party- and I was sick of christmas last month!!
I'm doing something different for my birthday this year- doing something. All I could bring myself to do was to tell everyone where I'll be on the evening of the 21st, but thats more than I've done in 10 years.

I dont get birthdays. Possibly because the number associated with someones age is meaningless- maturity has never had anything to do with how long someones been alive.

But still, everyone is expecting something simply because my age will have a zero on the end, and it will be nice to go out.

It'll be nice if the boys turn up, but theyre busy and I'm learning to manage my expectations. No repeats of last week's dramas for me :-)...

Disaster!

Lemon Meringue pie should be made with sugar. Leaving the sugar out until the end, then forgetting to put it in, doesnt make for the nicest pie.

Bugger.
