Wet fur...
Mar. 5th, 2005 05:10 pmFriday- pool party! although first we had to find breakfast- although, being 3pm by the time we managed to wake up properly, our breakfast was more lunch-like. I got home to have a wee nap, and met the boys as they came home from shopping, but it was soon time to leave them as they werent interested in the pool party. Which was definitely a mistake- take 500 bears, throw them in a wave pool, add 30 beach balls, and watch as grown men turn into excited kids again. The pool party was AWESOME. Some of the bigger bears made excellent floatation devices, and didnt seem to mind cubbies floating thereon. The elastic in my new speedos got a thorough workout, as every time I stopped paying attention someone was trying to remove them...
By the time 11pm came around everyone was waterlogged and exhausted, but Mistress Baz kept everyone amused with his locker-room repartee. We trundled up the hill to find food and booze- pizza from the kebab shop opposite the Oxford- YUM!- and a bottle of vodka from the bottle shop (more on that later). Since the entire of Oxford street was packed, we gathered a small posse of naughty bears and went back to Brian's magnificent apartment.
Much fun was had by all, 70 floors up, until yours truly drunkenly poured and guzzled a vodka and lemonade that was 98% vodka. Cue slurring and falling down and waking up the next day in bed, not quite remembering how I got there. However I was with Brian and Ricky so I know I was looked after. They even thought to take a photo, wasnt that nice.

(Grrr.....)
