Paddy's day..
Mar. 17th, 2005 10:30 pmSo tonight was St Patricks day. I finished my work (or, at least, stopped working) at 5pm and went downstairs to join the happy revellers. Mostly my clients and my boss. So I just sat in the corner and drank Guinness.
Then lovely Paul arrived

and shortly after, lovely pizza. Sorry, no pics of pizza as I was too busy stuffing my gob. With pizza. For once.
Then we got bored and wandered down to Murphys bar, where we found a midget with a band and lovely Alan, who is a genuine paddy.

lovely Alan. Irish. Drunk.
The midget with a band wasnt particularly inspiring (Hilight: playing irish hits, including "One thousand miles" by thePretenders Proclaimers. Who are Scottish.) so we headed to the thirsty dog, via a taxi driver who didnt even know where Karangahape Rd was. Grrr...
And now I'm at home. Heard from the boys, the Sprite is gone, Graeme Collett was most impressed with its condition (as he should be) so maybe I'll get more than I asked for. We had an agreement- whatever it was worth, as long as it was more than $1000. We'll see. I'm just glad to have it out of the boys hair.
