Everythings going to be allright...

Just back from picking up some of my more esoteric tools from TeAroha- the torque wrench, leakdown tester, valve spring compressor, timing light... and a whole HEAP of crap I forgot I'd left there! it was nice to see Rick and catch up on how things are going, and get to play and cuddle with wee Saffy. I didnt even cry when it was time to go! Ok so I'm lying through my teeth there, but it was nowhere near as bad as last time

Went to Hamilton and had tea with mum and dad, being mothers day. Had a long chat and many hugs with Mum (have you ever noticed how a mother's hugs seem to work 25% better than anyone else's?) Looked at Dads PC for him, tried to explain that the reason he couldnt see thumbnails of all his pictures was because he's running Win98 and not XP like at work, but I think it went over his head. I'm loath to install anything like ACDsee either because the last thing he needs is more confusing software.

Home via dropping off the Lathe to Glen's place, he has a workshop (jealous! jealous!) and so will get more use out of it than i will right now. And in a few minutes I'm off to Paul and Davids for a soak in the pool, lots of GnT, and lovely friendly company. I'm taking gin and porn as gifts. (us poofs are SO easy to shop for ;-))
