Wagamamas and a touch of luxury
May. 28th, 2005 01:44 pmLast night I met up with my friend Michael from Christchurch, and we went to Paula nd Davi'ds for a couple of drinks before dinner. Its true, I DO tend to hang around with witty, charming, and genuine guys, so it was no surprise that everyone got along really well.
We caught a taxi to Wagamamas, the new-to-auckland japanese restaurant, and enjoyed some of the best japanese noodles I've ever had, all served quickly and efficiently by the young, cheeky waitress. I also had a superb view of a hot wee bear at the next table, who kept making eyes at me :-D
Later that night Michael and I wandered back to the hotel (luxury!) and kept each other awake all night.
And then, this morning when we went back to David and Pauls to retrieve my car, what did I find on the front door but a cheeky note:

Michael holding said note in his small hands. And they ARE small, no matter what the note may imply!!
Of course, it may be retaliation for the message I sent Paul on wednesday afternoon (it went something like 'Oink oink oink oink, oink oink squee! Oink oink?? XX oink'. I happened to know what he'd been up to the previous evening ;-))
And now it's time to head back into town and show the lovely furry Odran around town. It jsut never ends!!
Oh and Boof? Say hi to Alan and Paul for me ;-))
