QOTD and others
Jun. 14th, 2005 09:41 amIt's been an amusing morning.
QOTD: Glenn, innocently: "So is Michael going to go down or get off?" and the office was filled with the sound of smutty giggles
THe NZ Herald: "A top al Quaeda suspect in the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba was stripped, forced to bark like a dog, and subjected to the music of Christina Aguilera, a news report revealed yesterday" Now THAT is cruel and unusual
bFm news: "Waikato health board has a new policy to test pregnant women for HIV. I guess that's because you can tell they've been having unsafe sex? Anyway..."Goes on to explain the real reason: a child born to an HIV-positive mother has a 30% chance of contracting HIV, but if the mother goes on drug therapy halfway through the pregnancy the risk drops to around 1%.
Alan cooked a fantastic dinner last night (with encouragement and instruction from Paul) a roast with broccoli and couscous, which was eaten in the finest of company: Lucien and Keith. Conversation revolved around sex, flight attendants, porn, and Eurovision. As I had a wee bit too much wine with my dinner I opted to stay the night, snuggled between Paul and Alan in their big bed. I have such lovely friends... :-)
