Knobs and knockers

I just averted a crisis: the steam knob on the coffee machine shattered, leaving everyone to drink black coffee. So I raced down to the surplus electronics store, bought a nice shiny alloy volume control, drilled out the centre so it would fit, and whacked it on. Result: fully operational coffee machine.

The upshot of all this is that everyone here is making smutty nob jokes- "Grant knows his nobs!" "Grants a nob man..."

*grin* I really do like working here...
