Raoul island
Mar. 24th, 2006 02:57 pmApart from the whole exploding beneath a hapless DOC worker, pumping ash into the atmosphere, and heralding the apocalypse, the eruption of Raoul Island has had a rather lovely benefit: some gorgeous sunsets.

Taken from Paul and Alan's wee balcony. I'm looking after their place for the next week while they're both away in Melbourne- my first task is to clear the floor of 6 months worth of paperwork, magazines, and junk mail.
Oh! and at the bar last night was a remarkably handsome american leather bear- picture a late 30's Steve Hurley, only taller and quieter. I think he had a cold though, because he had a BIG red hanky sticking out of his pocket. As much fun as Urge is, it's even better when there's woofy eye candy to watch. Ah well, not long now till I get to look at my very own woofy eye candy as much as I like. :-)
