Sash no more...
May. 7th, 2006 09:39 amThe Urge bear competition was a hoot. Everyone had a fabulous time in the relaxed atmosphere, Loren played with crowd, contestants and judges alike, and I got to run back and forth from stage to dressing room, keeping the boys in line and in order. Not that they needed cajoling- they were all eager to get on stage, and so organised themselves fairly well.
Everyone had a fantastic time and enjoyed their time on stage- except one particularly sore loser, who thought waving his penis at the crowd would score him points, and later took to shouting at the judges that they were "bastards who could have made me a winner". Apart from that though, everyone was happy with the result, and those without placings resolved to come back next year with more showmanship and win that sash!
I'll have some photos up soon, but for now I'm knackered. Even today's traditional sunday chill-out session was rather subdued, I think we only drank 4 bottles of wine. Most unusual.
