Ok, so I'm a little behind everyone else, but I'm loving listening to the new, improved, internet-only WOXY.com. Alternative rock has never had it so good- they're delving deep into albums they like rather than pushing one or two tracks, and they love the indie bands.

This is not a commercial station playing the same popular crap over and over. This is radio I can enjoy listening to. Go WOXY!

Oh, and I know it's Double-you-oh-ex-why, but for some weason my bwain keeps saying "woxy!" and giggling.

Drain surgeon

Paul is teasing me via text message- he's having the stormwater drains comprehensively unblocked by the local Drain Surgeon, who happens to be a short, stocky ball of muscle with a long red goatee, shaved head, and hearty laugh. I went to watch yesterday and had to leave, as my trousers were getting embarassingly tight.
