Inspired by Paul's recent purchase, I went totally mad and did this:
I know, I know, I dont have a job so how can this be, etcetera...
Well it IS too good to be true. This prime example of BMW build quality* is not actually mine, but merely mine to sell. It's actually rather nice to drive, as soulless modern vehicles go. Though it does make me wonder what the hell happened to BMW- thin squeaky plastics, dead feeling switchgear, and novocaine steering all make me think maybe they just gave up. Not even the M-sport suspension, sports exhaust, and tasteful AC Schnitzer body kit can save this automotive embarassment from the hall of bland mediocrity. I hate to think what a standard 318i is like. Aiee.
Still, some people like them. At least, I'm hoping so. At $20k it's going to be a while before this one goes anywhere, I think. Dont get me wrong, it's as good an example as you'll find anywhere, but that's the scarey thing. Someone at BMW looked at the finished product and said "That's good enough".
