Well the updating process doesnt go so smoothly when Brian's either hogging the internets or chasing me round the bedroom, so this wee phone post, brought to you from a diner in Coos Bay, Oregon, will have to do.

We spent the last couple of nights in green northern California, first with the horny daddies Tank and Dave and the following night with Tony (Snousle (nee ThatDangOtter)). Tony's place in Ukiah is awesome, and he has just installed a kitchen i'm thoroughly jealous of. And he knows how to use it! Yum...

So now we're heading towards Seattle. Coos Bay is very pretty, but i could use a week or two of sleeping in the same bed.

To get from California to Washington you have to pass through Oregon, a mythical place where sprites gambol among the trees and waitresses are unflappably cheerful, even at Taco Bell.

So many jokes, so little time. Apparently this brings luck for the journey ahead.

To get to Oregon you need either a magical wardrobe or a magical tree. Obviously we wanted to take the RAV4 so magical tree it was. These japanese tourists got stuck, I think.

It made the roof of the car disappear. Most strange. It came back later when the sun got too hot.

OregonHenge on the beach, a place of great power and mystery.

Photobucket
Not so powerful or mysterious.

We left breadcrumbs. Mostly in our beards, but the thought was there.

Oh, and there was this rock thing. Not sure what it's for.

Once we were in the magical land of Oregon we got to drive along the coast for 14 hours. It was pretty the whole way, up until we got bored with pretty and headed inland to I5 and made better time without all the RVs. How did they get them through that tree anyway?
