Macaroni and cheese-like substance.
Aug. 27th, 2008 11:53 amBrian introduced me to an American comfort food classic last night- macaroni and cheese (pronounced "macancheez"). Tasty macaroni and something called Velveeta, which allegedly Melts easier than cheddar, has 1/3 less fat than cheddar!. I contended that wax, glue, and grease also had those properties, but Brian told me to shut up.
I had to admit that, apart from the melted Velveeta's tendency to glom onto the roof of my mouth in a most un-cheeselike fashion, it was rather pleasant, and more so with a heap of pepper on top.
Now I'll have to introduce Brian to bacon and egg sandwiches.
