Awake!

Most of my posts lately seem to be about, or involve, sleeping. I've been a busy wee bear I think and the only time I get to the computer is when I'm in bed. Anyway- last night's party at Urge went really well, huge even. There was a scoreboard on the wall for how many cocks Johnny and friends had sucked. Not sure if the winner was the person with the least or the most checks by their name- or what they won. Trip to the doctor on Monday, maybe?

And I slept the fuck out of this morning. Hoo boy. Still woke to see 3 missed calls- my friends seem to forget that I work nights in the weekend. Luckily I'm on to it and put my phone on silent till 3pm.

Brian and I just had a long chat about Multimeters. He's got a new one as a christmas gift, and it triggered a long happy conversation about multimeters past- the early days of analogue units that needed calibrating to measure resistance, units with backlighting, an impressive 20 amp capacity and the ways meters evolved to handle currents like that, cheap batteries that leak and ruin a decent meter.

I really do love that man, and he arrives in 2 more sleeps.
