Whee Star Trek with the bearses! Such a fun, watchable ;-) movie. I was impressed by the way they handled the question of whether it was a reimagining of the original series or a rehash, even if they did go a little overboard explaining it. Yes, we get it already. Now get on with the asploshuns.

And there are asploshuns aplenty. (It's JJ Abrams, duh). The injokes are all there, though the characters are updated a little. And it's thoroughly watchable. I'd go back and see it again, and probably will.
