To whom it may concern:
I hereby decree the recently-coined 'Binogamous' to be superseded by the term 'Duogamous', lest the inclusion of the prefix 'Bi-' imply a touch of bisexuality.
That is all, go about your business.
Perhaps a little clarification: last weekend we were struggling with the incongruity of using 'monogamous' to describe a sexually-exclusive 3-way relationship. We decided that the participants couldnt really be called monogamous and a new word, Binogamous, was needed.

According to Thesaurus.com, multi suggests:
Definition: complex
Synonyms: advanced, complicated, delicate, elaborate, highly-developed, intricate, involved, knotty, labyrinthine, modern, multi-faceted, refined, subtle
Antonyms: naive, unsophisticated
I kind of like how "multi" suggests a kind of snootiness.
