Its official: My beard has outgrown my face. Both photos of me in the latest Express magazine were unrecognisable until I noticed my eyes peering from the thicket. I'm a small person with a small face, and the big beard just looks disproportionate. Crank up the hedge trimmers, because tonight is trim night!

Another way to put it - I have the impression that you've not seen yourself this way before; give yourself a chance to get used to it before you perform any Rash Acts. Big beards are not uncommon in Alaska, you know - you'll fit right in. ;)

And if Erich sees it in person and doesn't like it big - then you trim.
