Dear Glen,

I'm afraid I can't come back to work due to the eruption of a very large volcano here in Alaska. All flights out of the Anchorage bowl have been suspended indefinitely. I realize how important to you I am as an employee and I'm terribly upset that I am unable to return to work. But you know how inconvenient these natural catasrophes can be.

In the meantime allow me to perform my work via telecommuting. I think you may find, to your delight, how much work I am able to perform even when I am far away from home.

Please get back to me at your earliest convenience. *cough cough* I'm off to blow out Erich's air filter for the 10th time today. :-O

Yes please keep the laod until reday to return. Also when blowing the load make sure the gas, fumes, dust clouds come to australia and stop my flights returning too.
