Much decadence

Last night was Alan's last free night in Auckland for a while, as he's off to cover the commonwealth games in Melbourne. To celebrate his impending absence wish him luck, Paul took us out for a fabulous dinner in Kingsland. Tangy beef salad, lamb with fresh minted mashed peas, and a couple of bottles of great wine: that's the way to spend a Wednesday evening.

Its even better when Thursday morning involves sitting around for a couple of hours waiting for clients to give feedback- nothing like easing into a workday.

Oh, and the transferred license plate for the bike arrived today, only 7 days since I sold the car. Excellent.

Sold the car on Thursday last week, to Andrew (ex flatmate...) because I sincerely hope to be in Alaska in 3 months time, and I wont need a wedgey sports car there! stay tuned...

Of course, having the new bike to get around on, and Alan's wee Charade for haulage purposes helped the decision. :-)

Anyway, how's yer crippled self? Not that you'll be needin your knee soon with Paul visiting, I'm sure your legs wont have much chance to touch the ground... ;-)
