growler_southLast night was Alan's last free night in Auckland for a while, as he's off to cover the commonwealth games in Melbourne. To celebrate his impending absence wish him luck, Paul took us out for a fabulous dinner in Kingsland. Tangy beef salad, lamb with fresh minted mashed peas, and a couple of bottles of great wine: that's the way to spend a Wednesday evening.
Its even better when Thursday morning involves sitting around for a couple of hours waiting for clients to give feedback- nothing like easing into a workday.
Oh, and the transferred license plate for the bike arrived today, only 7 days since I sold the car. Excellent.
