Fun weekend. Too much fun, perhaps.

growler_southWorking late and overindulging is occasionally fun, but not when your body's trying to ward off a cold. I'm paying for it now. Ah well, it needed to be done.
I was woken this morning by the gentle cackle of jackhammers in the building across the street, and then was blinded by the glare of sunlight bouncing off the ceiling. I decided that venetian blinds, though convenient, really are crap at blocking light and sound.
This morning I bought curtains off Trade Me. They may well be hideous, but at least they'll give Erich some peace and quiet when he arrives (and I rather suspect he'll be needing peace and quiet for a while, poor stressed bear.)
