growler_southLeather and uniform night at Urge was supposed to be 'strict dress code', but as the temperatures dropped to 5 degrees the restriction was relaxed. You try standing on the front door, icicles in your beard, and telling someone that they cant come in because they're wearing too much. (Though I did turn a few sqealing twinks away, using the 'strict dress code' defense.)
The night went well too, it was steadily busy from 10pm until close, though I went home early, too cold to hang around much longer.
I guessed Erich was enjoying Christchurch, since he forgot to let me know he got there safely! (though I did rouse him this afternoon so I know he's ok.) It'll be good to get everything cleared up when he gets back to Auckland on Monday.
