jawnbc and querelle properly. Our eyes had met across a crowded room in Sydney, and of course we've kept in touch on here, but never actually mamanged to meet until today. And to my delight it turns out they're as sweet and charming and dirty as they are here.
We all went to an amazing meal at Rice- awe inspiring food, perfect service, great decor, somewhat pricey. The usual suspects were in attendance, andjawnbc and mikeybill got along famously, talking shop just enough that we knew they were real interlectuls, but still leaving time to be their lovely selves. Conversation ranged from contact lenses to sex to my history of being a slut (brief conversation there, then) to death to HIV to recipes.
A quick stop at Mea Culpa, and home to bed, full of food but very happy.
