growler_southEaster weekend is here. We're off to Wellington, looking forward to catching up with my sister, and giving her a chance to meet the boys...
Rick's been tormenting Saffy, he's impaled her favourite toy on a chairleg, now Saff cant remove it- its made her a bit neurotic. MORE neurotic.
Went out for dinner with Dean last night- ended up to Praego, I'd forgotten how reasonable meals at Praego are- not bad for a stylie restaurant on Ponsonby Road. The waiter was a shameless flirt and kinda cute too, although my wedding ring confused hell out of him :-)
Ive pruned the hell out of the scraggly *plant name removed to protect the guilty* which has been bugging me for weeks- its been all stringy and brown and scruffy and over a metre tall, now its a small tuft of pretty green leaves. Neat how all a plant needs to give it enthusiasm is to be half-killed, whereas you half-kill a human and most of the time they end up sitting around moaning about how terrible their life is...
