The horror!
I know a talented wrench like you could make it pretty again, but the only easy maintenance on this model is valve adjustment. You have to get under the fairing and remove the gas tank to change the battery. Some things should be left to the anal German engineers whose mantra seems to be, "It's too easy! Make it harder to work on!"
