Fascinating how they can include Ancient Egypt, Greece & Rome, but neglect India (the home of mathematics) China, and the Islamic world, where science continued to advance over this period.

In short, I'd say the data for this is about as unbiased and reliable as the data for God creating the world in 6 days.

Yeh, we might have been exploring galaxies, but we would have had no moral compass. We would be a bunch of lustful, murderous, adulterous, corrupt and avaricious sinners.
Unlike the Popes.
Who during that period, chartered such a clear-cut course on the way to being more pious and better people.
