(no subject)

The bikes are up for sale :-(

Anyone want a 2007 Suzuki M50 with 8000 miles on the clock, windshield, saddle bags, and a free set of Cobra pipes? Or how about a 2003 Honda Magna, 46000 miles, with 2 windshields, luggage rack, and extras? Both have been cared for and properly serviced...

For a second I thought you'd written that those men had been properly serviced. I was going to say BRAVO!! Hell, I will anyway because you tood such good care of the bikes.

Is that Cypress Lookout?

The bikes are real nice. I'm not looking for one though at the moment.

Tell me more about that bike.
If you remember Kym (RMC) he lost his yellow this spring.
I can forward it to him as he's not on LJ.

Kym's seen my Magna before... two years ago at Badger.

It's a 2003 - so it's blue - with 46,400 miles. It has the crash bars, sissy bar, luggage rack, saddlebag guards, 2 windshields (one big, one small, neither from Honda), center stand, and Mapam forward pegs. (I first saw the Mapam pegs on Kym's bike and ordered them a month later.)

The chain and sprockets are 1 year old, aftermarket, but the same size as the originals. The tires are less than a month old. Major service was done just before Badger with valves checked, carbs synced, plugs replaced, and coolant/oil/brake fluid replaced.

Do you have ANY idea as to how much Roy would LOVE the Suzuki M50? I presume that it's a "Boulevard"?

LOL I have some idea... ;-)

Suzuki are naming all their cruisers 'Boulevarde', but the M50 and C50 are likely what Roy's after. They're cheap as chips here- $4000 gets you a practically new one- but more expensive in NZ and, presumably, Aussie.

Tell Roy to take an M50 for a test ride first, and compare it to the C50. The M50 has a sportier stance, and can be uncomfortable on longer rides.
