Sharing time!

So I found this cellphone on the bar. And in it (as I read the text messages trying to figure out whose it was, honest) was this amazing wee love letter:

Hallo lost dream boy... Me totally covered in love bites, and guess what... My ex didnt mind at all- just as well! Me loved every second. Feeling good and all. Our dream is not spoiled because it stop at midnight like in children's stories. Hope u enjoy the rest of your holiday, X.

So sweet!! I figured out whose phone it was and he told me the story behind that- he was in Amsterdam and met this guy, and they had a delicious meal of mushrooms (yes, *those* mushrooms) and went to a sauna. Many hours and a few light-years later, he found himself awake in his hotel room, showered and dressed, with that message on his phone.

There's a short story in this (in the hands of a good author)

The phrase "many hours and a few light-years later" has an entire erotic novel behind it- the guy told me all the details, as he remembered them- glossy black minotaurs, a man made entirely of blue mirror tiles, unravelling and winding back together around the guy- and a lot more- it sounded, err, cosmic...

Note "found himself awake in his hotel room.." thats how he described it- "I didnt wake up there, I was already awake, I just remembered where my body was and went and found it"

Duuude....

Sorta reminds me of--well--another trip to Amsterdam! They say that San Francisco is "the city where excess is bare sufficiency"--can Amsterdam be far behind?
