Up at 5.30 this morning, the doggies were NOT impressed. Dyna helped me make the bed by snuggling down into the covers and refusing to move- I was tempted to leave the room as it was and let her get the blame for messing the bed up, but she's just too cute...

And then there was the duck. Nothing like coming round the corner to find a low-flying duck in the wrong lane. Rather than gaining altitude, this duck decided that lying low was the best course of action, a move it immediately regretted- if it lived long enough to have regrets. It hit the front corner of the car with an almighty *THUMP*. And presumably a "quack," although I didnt hear it, being in the process of braking hard and swearing loudly. I saw the duck ricochet off to the right, as something rectangular and silver flew off to the left.
