I've been dreaming again lately- I dont remember my dreams very often, must be the hot weather waking me up. Its amusing to see what my subconscious has been working on.

I'm in a Melbourne-like city, actual location unimportant, but its significant that its a city I dont know all that well. Its kind of crowded and we're threading our way through the people- I'm following Rick as we search for Morris. I'm separated momentarily and I see Ricks shiny head wander away up a sidestreet. Theres a bunch of people between me and him and he's still moving away, so I hurry up a less crowded sidestreet intending to intercept him at the top. Except when I get there he's nowhere to be seen. I know (as you do in dreams, with a behind-the-scenes certainty) that Rick's found Mo and theyre happily making up for lost time, and as I sit on the cobblestoned sidewalk it occurs to me that despite being alone and lost and forgotten, I'm happy for them.

Gee I wonder what *that* one might mean. LOL!!

The other was from this morning- a great many people, me included, were sitting cross-legged on colourful mats in a large auditorium. The mats were like Kindergarten nap-time rugs, and we were being treated like kids. Someone from Livejornal was sitting beside me, but I dont remember who it was, possibly Jeff or Gregor? and no, it wasnt [livejournal.com profile] nfotxn ;-). A friendly, curly-haired sunday school teacher-like lady was wandering up the rows of perplexed people, asking a question of each. When she got to me she asked "Do you know God?" which suddenly made sense- they were seeking the confused and weak in order to brainwash them. I was suddenly no longer scared or confused, as I answered "All things are one expression of God. I know God as I know myself." She smiled and tapped me on the shoulder with her pointer, and said "you may go"

That one's a bit of a mystery to me,

You can help yourself remember dreams -- if you want -- by keeping a "dream journal" by your bed. You can train yourself to write them down when you wake up, then they are there in the am to review. You should be careful of this practice because it can also cause insomnia, but I love my dream journal. No I can usually remember my dreams without writing them down.
