Bad but good

Well after getting my head around the situation and having a great time with Mo on Saturday night and sunday, I found myself at work today dwelling on the way things might have been rather than being happy about the way things are. Having *that* song stuck in my head didnt help, and it got to the stage where every valentine's day card and message had me crying. Dramatic, I know. But I guess its valid, we tried for something that didnt work, and its only natural to grieve a little.

The truth of the matter is that my relatioinship with the boys will be stronger and more stable now we're just good mates again. I know where I stand, theres no pressure, and we all know we tried so hard to make it work. It was proven on saturday and sunday, and I still feel it today. I'm very much looking forward to going to Mardi Gras with them- they seem to be the cheerful, fun-loving guys I met last last year again, and if last year is anything to go by we'll be terrorising Bear Essentials mercilessly.

Mo even called me this evening to make sure I was coping- and now I know its all going to be ok. I've lost a strange relationship that was causing us grief, and gained two fantastic best mates who love me dearly.

I can be truly happy with that.
