is it just me, or are a disproportionate number of the gentlemen on Writeaprisoner.com from Texas? I'm getting the impression Texas is one state I want to avoid, avoid, avoid!!

That said, there's some hot guys like him and him on there (albeit murderers and evil marijuana-posessors)...

It must be a US thing. Here, 'posession' is small amounts for personal use, anything more than that is 'posession for supply'. In either case, 16 years is a bit stupid and likely to do more harm than good IMO.

Well, yea, 16 years is bizarrely long. Especially when you consider that other hot guy is getting out sooner... for murder.

I wouldn't assume that "possession" is the full name of whatever he was convicted of. If you've got less than an ounce, it's a misdemeanor I think. So he had more, presumably transporting or selling.

Are you actually going to write to either? It's sorta tempting, though could quickly get weird.
