My flatmate's clothes had been in the washing machine, unwashed, for 3 days. So this morning I hung them on the line to dry. Am I not helpful? Hopefully the driving rain manages to wash them a bit.

Last night David and Paul invited me round for dinner: roast, stuffed chicken, cauliflower cheese, baked potato- yum! A lovely night with friends watching movies was precisely what I needed to de-stress after yesterday. They also lent me one of *those* movies which I watched when I got home. Well, watched the first half anyway ;-))

Work is calm again today. I havent had an apology but I've had a peace offering of coffee delivered to my desk, and I'm happy with that.

He's probably embarassed. If I say he should be that'll sound snotty and it's not how it's meant. I think most people would be. You should talk about it sometime in a way that will be clear but won't make him defensive. We've all done things we regret, especially when we're crapping our pants, which it sounds like he might have been.
