I dont do theme dinners, but the auckland gay swim team's medieval banquet sounded like fun and so i made an effort. On with the dirty workshop jeans, a shirt with a shoelace threaded through, and a (frankly scarey) suede jacket thing and voila! instant serf.

Don't listen to grassvalleybear or you might become a High Country Hick too. We humor him (he married up, and into the family), but he has been known to show up at a party with white lipstick, in a white mini-dress and very large baubles dangling from his ears. A fate you might want to avoid!

Frankly, (and I believe the final fashion authority danbearnyc would agree, sans serf will get you laid more often. Except, perhaps at a Renaissance Fair(e). Now put on that jockstrap and pose!
