Money trouble
Dec. 10th, 2003 03:03 pmIm enjoying living in the house on my own- plenty of time for me to do my own stuff, keeping the kitchen fanatically clean while the bathroom rots, knowing where my keys are because no-ones 'tidied' them ;-) However the rent.... hoo boy, the rent is a killer.
Its all not helped by the fact that Taz and I borrowed money from my parents to consolidate our loans and HP's- and now Taz has gone (and is still jobless) im obliged to repay my parents on my own- something im not all that happy about. I do appreciate that Taz has no job and very little money, so im willing to let it slide until he gets a job.

debxena has offered to pay Taz' portion of the repayments until he gets a job, a noble gesture, but I cant let her shoulder the burden of her brother's mistakes. Lets face it, this is my screwup, a situation I have let myself in for and one that I will just have to sort out on my own.
In the meantime, while I squeeze my pennies and wait for Taz to get a job, I will have to get a flatmate. Ah the joy of flatmates, horrible alien invaders changing things and disrupting my personal space. I'll be looking for the type of flatmate who eats nothing, rarely stays in the house, has no personal posessions, is gay or gay-friendly, and is polite and respectful.
An airline steward then. Or a goldfish.
