First day back at work...

Despite coming back from holidays, and the imminent departure of my two best mates for Europe (and the US, specifically SF- Jeff, take note.) I walked into work and was immediately glad to be there. Possibly because Teh Kscope is an anchor in the rapidly-changing landscape that is my life recently, possibly because I was hanging out for a coffee (having had an Epic Wank TM this morning.)

And I'm still happy. The last 355 days have been the happiest of my life, and I'm glad of it. No matter what the future holds, Ive learned a lot and grown a lot and made some incredible friends. My life is full of love right now, and I could ask for no more than that.

Brumm! Brumm!! Bum!

I started the new Piazza last night- installed a battery, cleaned the terminals, and (eventually) remembered to plug the engine computer back in.

RRRrr, RRRrrr, went the starter.

Zzzzzzzz! went the fuel pump.

Vroooom!! went the engine.

Sssss, Sssss went the turbo.

Pop! went the alternator.

Fuck! said Growler.

Ha Ha, your alternator's smoking, said my spunky neighbour, David.

(David replaced the alternator in his truck a couple of days ago, as I watched, amused. Karma, anyone?)
