Three things that make me happy:

The clutch slave cylinder from my new Piazza/Impulse turbo. The very early, stupidly-fast ones had this wee solenoid. Below 4000rpm the clutch behaves normally- engaging and disengaging as quickly as you care to move your left foot. Above 4000rpm though, this solenoid engages a restricted passageway in the clutch slave cylinder, so the clutch engages a bit more gradually- it was Isuzu's simple solution to ensure the drivetrain could withstand any sort of abuse- full power standing starts included.
