Holiday!!

I havent even made it to Sydney yet, and I'm planning my next holiday.

April 22- arrive Melbourne at 8.30pm oh BUGGER. I thought it said 'departs 6.30pm' but its not, it departs AKL at 6.30am. Aaargh! my plan was to finish work at 4 and head to teh airport, thereby avoiding having to ask for time off, but now Im going to have to get the WHOLE DAY OFF... crap. My boss is not going to be happy. And it costs $100 to reschedule.

Ah well. More time in lovely Melbourne for me :-)

SO- Arrive April 22 at 8.30am, depart April 25 at 6.30pm. In between? who knows but itll involve lots of coffee, food, shopping, beer, and sex. Possibly in that order. Repeatedly.

Ok, last night (friday night) wasnt as much fun as I'd hoped, but still had its moments.

Bugs Bunny on Broadway was preceded by Yakitori- Paul and David were a little confused by the cabbage, but enjoyed their first Yakitori nonetheless. Little grilled skewers of yum and bad english, only the best of japan here.

BBOB wasnt as good as I had hoped- the orchestra played the original score while the movies played above, which was a nice experience, but nothing earth-shattering. Perhaps I missed out on Bugs Bunny culture growing up. Deprived child! Deprived child! still, the tickets were free, so I didnt complain.

err, I wasnt at Lateshift on Thursday. You must have seen some other skinhead beardycub. Which leads me to question: if you *did* see someone who looked like me, then why arent I getting a message that says "Said hi to someone at LS thinking he was you but he wasnt" ? Hmm?

and with that in mind, I offer this Growlerised translation of the original message.

"You bastard, I was at Lateshift Thursday night, you should have said hi!"
"Just wanted you to know that I was in Auckland and didnt bother to call you."

This is the way my mind works. Its all about the subtext. I'm going to go out now, and I'm going to get hammered, and I'm going to forget, for a while, that there is someone who has this much of a hold on me.
