No crappy plane. No!
Dec. 9th, 2005 01:16 pmIt occurred to me last night that the flight I'm taking to LAX (flight NZ6) might not be one of the upgraded planes. A quick check with AirNZ and sure enough, its one of the stinky old beasts with shared entertainment and uncomfortable seats.
So I invoked the 'no charge for changes before departure' provision of my ticket, figured out which AKL-LAX flight has the upgraded plane, and changed to it. Flight NZ2, here we come!
The other advantage is that it gets into LAX at 1.55pm on the 23rd, rather than 7am, which means I only have 7 hours of torturous anticipation in the airport rather than 14.
Mmmmm personal entertainment system and leather seats makes me *happy*
