Looking after Paul's buildings while he's away. So far I've mopped floors, repaired a wonky faucet, emptied rubbish bins and distributed new keys to tenants.
Running the bar- we have a long weekend coming up (queen's birthday) and that means underwear party on Sunday. We sold out of tickets last week, so dont ask. The main stress has been finding enough staff to work the night- with Alan and Paul away, and Ant terminally unreliable, I've had to dredge up some dodgy fellas. Which means friends and family. Saturday in particular will be interesting, since Terry is going to be behind the bar, bringing the average age of the staff for that night above 25 for the first time in years.
Johnny and Kim sold their house at a very exciting auction last night. The bids crept up $1000 at a time, with each bidder waiting for the final call before upping their bid. And then we had champagne, and got Terry and Steven (the buyers) really happy. Woo!
